Right now in our nation, there is a heightened level of chaos. One would wonder where all of this hostility comes from. There are multiple reasons for reaching this point of anger in our country.
For example: the body at times gets dehydrated but the misconception of most, is that it happens suddenly. The truth is, by the time your body recognizes that it’s dehydrated, it’s the end of a process. Similarly, our nation didn’t just irrupt all of a sudden. A series of events had to take place to get to this point. For the same reason that when you trap steam in a pot it tries to irrupt but if you take the cover off it flows freely, so does the human will. If you corner a certain demographic and apply pressure (through lack of opportunity and harsh punishment) eventually, it will irrupt. One of our problems as a society, is that we let up as soon as we get a little result, never holding through to the end; the same reason an undisciplined team loses a close game. The truth is, most humans fight hard when they are about to lose their breath but if you allow them to gasp for a little while they get relaxed instead of fighting for the next breath. For government to irrupt in change, accountability, and justice, for the people it is supposed to serve, we must first get rid of things that weaken our strength to fight until the desired results.
5 things we must get rid of to be a better country:
• Greed
• Fear
• Excess desire for convenience
• Love of things instead of people
• Intolerance of difference
